Daddy's Weekend!

While I was away this last weekend for the Mom's retreat at Seabrook, Brett got to spend the weekend with the peanut! I had a very fun and relaxing weekend with 30 other women while Brett and the peanut hung around the harbor doing all sorts of fun things!

I am so thankful to have a husband who is so wonderful! He was so encouraging and supportive about me leaving for the weekend for some fun days spent with great friends and he was sooooooo great with Trevi! She is such a lucky girl to have such a fun and loving dad! He even cleaned the house and did all the laundry!! Thank you Brett, I love you and appreciate you!

 Fall

to be honest I don't know how I feel about fall yet.... I love the color of the leaves, everything pumpkin, fires, warm drinks, and fun festivals but I hate the cold, rainy, gray days and again the cold.       

However, here are a few pictures from the Scarecrow Festival in Gig Harbor a few weekends ago! We went with our cousins and Trevi's buddy Brielle!  They got to pet animals, explore a hay maze, vote for the best scarecrow and enjoy the last few days of sunshine!!

Brett and I decided to enjoy literally the last day of sunshine with a bike ride on Ruston Way! Trevi did amazingly well! She just sat in her seat checking everything out! It was chilly but sunny!!!

 TWINS?!?!?!!?

Trevi and I spent 2 days and 1 night with Memphis at our house!  We watched her while Erica's family went to a couple football games in Seattle and spent the night in a hotel!  I got a glimpse into the life of twins while Erica was sleeping in until 9am!! :)  I really do think it would be fun despite all the work and coordinating.  Here is an idea of what we did for 2 days inside.  Clearly I am not brave enough to venture out with both of them considering all the pictures are in our living room...

 the weekend started out by getting up at an ungodly hour due to our lovely Memphis!!

 Trevi is very tired but we survived! Naps came early!

 Unfortunately this happened a lot.  

I think Memphis missed her mommy and Trevi really does not like it when other babies cry.

once the girls were asleep I finally had a chance to go pee and noticed these two cuties outside our bathroom window! They just lied around in our neighbors yard for a couple of hours! We do see lots of deer in our neighborhood and especially in our yard but it was cool to see them just relaxing under the tree and out of the rain!
