Happy Mother's Day!!

This is my 2nd Mother's Day and it is still by far my favorite holiday!!!! I love my little girl and I love that I get to spend all my days with her because she is so sweet, funny and silly! I love seeing her learn new things every day! I love that she is mine and I love being her mom! 

I also appreciate this holiday so much more now that I am a mom! It makes me so thankful for my mom!! I always appreciate her but today makes me even more aware! Thank you mom, for being caring, supportive, loving, inspiring changing my diapers, midnight feeding a when you had 3 other kids and a full time job, making me feel better when I was sick, reading to me, feeding me and most of all thanks for being my mom!!! 

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!! I am celebrating you today!!!

Checked in on Trevi last night and this is what I found!!!! Such a perfect little girl!

Let me just start by saying... WOW I love the sunshine! Also, the lack of posts is not because of a lack of fun things it's quite the opposite actually! We have been so busy and having such a great time in the sunny weather! Sorry for the mass amount of photos!!!

I have a second coat to add to the walls and some more clean up so there is yet to be a final picture but let me tell you... she's a beaut!

Herbs galore!!

People know me well... For my birthday my sister bought me two big beautiful packs of herbs from Costco for my garden! One pack was the country kit with dill, tarragon, basil, sage and pineapple mint! The other was an italian kit with rosemary, basil, oregano, thyme, parsley and chives! I love having fresh herbs on hand for cooking and baking and I love seeing the green on my front porch! Now, if I can just keep Trevi's little hands out of the dirt!

My garden is also coming alone nicely! The beans and squash are just sprouting, the kale, spinach and broccoli is taking off, my green onions and beets survived through the winter and my other seeds are starting to poke through the dirt! Let's hope all this sunshine with a little watering helps then grow into a lush garden to feed my family all summer long !!
